Story:
Ali Ghazanfari moved to Oklahoma City in the early 70′s from Iran with less than $100 in his pocket. He was a young man, tired of fighting the status quo in his home country, a man who wanted to defy the odds and live a promising life. He began his life working for a home improvement and remodeling company and learned everything he possibly could about rocks and stones and the craft of transforming stones into amazing pieces of art. His entrepreneurial spirit and hard work led him to start his own home improvement business known as Decorative Rock & Stone.
Challenge:
Ali grew this business to one of the most credible businesses in Oklahoma City and expanded to two locations. He ran his business with a lot of passion and enthusiasm and after running this home grown business the old school way for 25+ years he began to see a significant decline in sales. This decline was due to the monster of failing economy that has haunted small businesses all over the country. Ali decided to work with a local marketing company, invested some money and launched a website to further promote his business but — traditional marketing tactics did not work or produce any results for his business.
